The Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) is a social care and health team that works with adults with learning disabilities.
Who we support
We work with people aged 18 and over who have a diagnosed learning disability to lead independent, fulfilled lives. We also work with families, carers, care providers and professionals to ensure that people with learning disabilities are able to access the knowledge, information and support they require to lead their lives as independently as possible.
About the role
As a Social Worker you will manage a caseload of work, using person centred practice principles to assess, support plan and review.
Pro-actively participating in the leadership team you will be part of a supportive, evolving, and multi-disciplinary team, developing a service that puts the customer at the centre of everything we do.
As an experienced social worker you will have 2 years post-qualification experience in a social care setting and have extensive professional development since qualifying and be qualified to a DipSW level.
