A qualified Social Worker is needed to join our team. The candidates must be well versed in working with the strength-based model and promote residents' independence with appropriate multi-disciplinary input. It is essential to be a good communicator, in writing as well as in speech.
It is essential to show a genuine commitment to the principles of the Code of Ethics for Social Workers and to professionally engage with colleagues or other professionals, service users and their families.
The Team is based at Newington Barrow Way in Islington North.
Currently on a work from home mandate due to Covid 19-related restrictive measure, we support local residents with all social care-related matters.
All candidates are expected to be able to do face to face visits with service users. Risk assessments prior to visits will take place to ensure that PPE and all necessary protection is arranged for visiting.
It is expected that candidates have experience in safeguarding, mental capacity and strength based assessment work. It would be ideal if the candidates had experience of using Liquid Logic (LAS) as a database system but is not essential.
